Exway's 10-step FastTrack accident repair processStep 1: Call Exway's Emergency Hot Line (0871 230 0744) The repair process begins as soon as you call one of Exway's Customer Service Managers to tell them about your problem. Step 2: Recovery of your vehicle (if necessary) If your car can’t be moved, Exway will arrange for a recovery vehicle to retrieve it from the roadside. Exway also offers customers a Pick Up and Drop Off at home service. Step 3: Courtesy car Exway can arrange to provide a courtesy car (including 4x4 vehicles) to keep you on the road until your own is restored to its original condition. Step 4: Estimating One of Exway’s fully-qualified Estimators will assess the damage to your vehicle and will produce a detailed work specification for approval by your insurance company. To help speed up the authorisation process, Exway usually supports estimates by e-mailing digital photographs of the damage to the insurance provider. Step 5: Measuring As soon as your car enters one of Exway’s fully-equipped and technologically-advanced workshops, it will be placed on a computerised measuring and alignment system to ensure that the structural damage is repaired to the vehicle’s original specification. Step 6: Panel Work Badly damaged panels will be replaced, whilst panels with minor damage will be repaired using the latest techniques. Step 7: Painting Your vehicle will be skilfully prepared, primed and refinished using specialist spray booths and advanced water-based paint systems which are extremely environmentally-friendly.
