Q. Do you guarantee work undertaken to my vehicle?

Yes, Exway is the only car accident repair specialist in the country to offer a Lifetime Guarantee for all repairs for as long as you own the vehicle.

Q. Why can delays arise during repairs?

Your insurance company may need to inspect the damage to your vehicle.
There may also be delays in obtaining necessary parts.

Q. What payments am I responsible for before my car is returned?

  • Insurance policy excess.
  • VAT, if you are registered.
  • Any damage to the courtesy car.
  • Any additional private work requested by you.
  • Any costs under the Road Traffic Acts (such as fines).

Q. What happens if the insurance company does not approve all items needed for the repair?

We can only undertake the work that your insurance company has approved. If you're not happy with their engineer's decision, you should contact your insurance company immediately to discuss the matter.

Q. If the accident was not my fault, can you help?

Q. May I drive my damaged vehicle to you so that I can discuss the repairs?

Yes, anytime between 8am and 6pm.

Q Do you have a 24hr service?

Yes, each branch can be contacted for emergencies only on 0871 230 0744 (premium rate call).

Q. What courtesy cars are available?

  • Courtesy 'A' class vehicles – such as Mitsubishi Colt and VW Polo.
  • Skoda Fabia
  • Courtesy vans
  • Courtesy 4x4s

Q. Is there any charge for the courtesy car?

No. The vehicle is subject to a pre-delivery inspection, but you must check oil, water, lights and tyres on a daily basis.

Q. Who can drive the courtesy car?

The conditions attached to your existing insurance policy also apply to the courtesy car, including windscreens etc.

Q. Who is responsible for damage to courtesy cars provided by Exway?

Your own insurance policy is used for the courtesy car and you are responsible for any excess payments on your policy.

Q. Can I use the courtesy car for holidays or extended travel?

No - unless it is agreed that the duration of the repair will take longer than your expected return date.

Q. What do I do if my courtesy car breaks down?

Telephone your Exway branch, unless a window sticker displays an alternative Helpline number.

Q. Is a refund available for unused fuel when I return the courtesy car?

There is no refund on fuel left in the vehicle.

Q. Can I choose when I have my car delivered?

We will try to provide an indication of morning or afternoon delivery. The courtesy car must be available to us at all times.
